GroupSense :: Online Collaboration

NEWS: GroupSense has launched a new online groups service at OnlineGroups.Net.

OnlineGroups.Net enables you to start your own online groups site and then add online groups. Trial groups are free. OnlineGroups.Net provides an alternative to Yahoo! Groups. They have no advertising and you can have them on your own site that can be customised to use your domain, and look and feel and your content.

Organisations benefit when people collaborate. People benefit when they collaborate. The problem is, it's hard to collaborate. When it's hard to collaborate, people tend not to. Things fall through gaps. People reinvent the wheel. The left hand gets isolated from the right. At the same time, people are overloaded with information. They become more isolated as they struggle to cope. People need better and easier access to the people and information they work with. People need more contact, not more content. More signal, not more noise.

GroupSense works with Organisations, eLearning and eDemocracy initiatives to facilitate, increase and improve collaboration. Online Collaboration makes it easier for people to collaborate when they work in different places, at different times and/or across different projects and organisations. It increases the flow of knowledge and access to knowledge. It increases creativity, quality and efficiency. Increased collaboration benefits the organisation. When more collaboration happens, people benefit more. The benefits motivate people to collaborate even more and benefit themselves and their organisation even more.

GroupSense provides organisational change services underpinned by simple yet effective technology. GroupSense designs and builds Collaboration Sites that enable people to collaborate more effectively using the tools they already use - email, a web browser and office applications. GroupSense provides specialised Support Services that facilitate and stimulate participation. GroupSense Collaboration Sites use the open source collaboration plaftorm GroupServer.
