Knowledge Management

GroupSense works with organisations to enable stimulating, constructive interaction between people, who are separated by time, opportunity or geography, in and across organisations. Online Collaboration is suited to organisations with a need to manage knowledge, resources and staff time effectively, getting the most from the combined contributions of participants, and building on the existing knowledge base and expertise. The focus is on many-to-many (collaboration between participants) rather than one-to-many (as happens with email).

GroupSense creates online places for participants to collaborate, and supports them to participate. Participants are motivated both extrinsically (by the demands of their work) and intrinsically - when collaboration is easy and successful, participants are motivated to collaborate more. Development happens close to the time and place that it is needed. Knowledge is created, exchanged and used in a real and social context.

The experience of Online Collaboration trains the participants to work and develop professionally in the integrated electronic environment, giving them skills needed in the emerging online work culture.
