01 February, 2005: Two e-Democracy Sites now Active
Two new eDemocracy sites are now up and active.
The E-Democracy.Org Forums
site is now home to
Public Issues Forum pilots
in five UK localities. Several of the pilot forums will be opened
for participation in early February.
The recently opened DoWire
Forums site is supporting a new Public Sector Webcasting and Multimedia Online Community of Practice
and, in March, will be the venue for a Public Sector Webcasting E-Conference.
These sites have been established through collaboration
between GroupSense, IOPEN, Steven Clift and Tim Erickson.
Both use GroupServer
which has acquired many new features over the last month.
17 November, 2004: GroupServer Selected by Steven Clift for e-Democracy Projects
Steven Clift has selected GroupServer to support e-Democracy projects in in Minnesota and the UK.
E-Democracy public speaker, researcher and online strategist Steven Clift has selected GroupServer
to support Public Issues forum pilots as part of a
UK Local E-democracy National Project.
Steven Clift has engaged GroupSense and IOPEN to
add a variety of Participant and Administration features
to GroupServer and to package GroupServer so that it can be downloaded
freely via the Web and installed. GroupSense and IOPEN have also
set up the E-Democracy.Org Forums site to support the UK pilot forums and
other existing forums that will move to GroupServer.
17 November, 2004: GroupServer.Org Created
GroupServer now has its own website at groupserver.org.
www.groupserver.org, a GroupServer
site itself (of course), will be the home for information about the features
and development plans for GroupServer as well as the GroupServer Team and GroupServer
Admin online groups.
17 September, 2004: Public Areas Visible on Online Groups Site
The Online Groups site now has two
"divisions" that are visible on the Web.
They are:
25 June, 2004: New Website online
With thanks to Richard and Josh,
Dan has got the new GroupSense
website off to a new start.
The content is currently at a
basic minimum but it is new content,
reflecting the current focus and services
of GroupSense. You can expect it to
be gradually evolving and expanding.
The thanks to Richard
and Josh, are for
their help getting this site going on
a new XML, CSS and docbook website framework.
It's so much easier to edit the site
structure. And it will be really good
when the whole site can be rendered in PDF.
18 June, 2004: Sociocorpus Relaunched
Sociocorpus, the GroupSense
blog, has been relaunched
here.
