The key person in GroupSense is Dan Randow.

Dan Randow

Dan Randow is Director and Senior Consultant with GroupSense. Dan has been consulting and providing online collaboration services to organisations and elearning providers since 1998. He is also the Designer of GroupServer.

Dan has 18 years of experience working with groups, organisations, learning, information systems, business and management. Prior to establishing GroupSense in 1998, Dan worked with ComputerLand in Christchurch, as Account Manager, Training Consultant and Development Team Leader.

Dan has also worked extensively in training and community sector roles. In 1998, Dan co-founded Matapuna with Kevin Makin. Dan is an advanced trainee in Sociometry which provides a theoretical and practical foundation for his work. Sociometry is part of the discipline of Psychodrama developed by JL Moreno. Sociometry provides a basis for analysing social systems and working with them to increase task accomplishment and participant satisfaction.
