Universal RSS Aggregator Interface

Imagine an interface where all manner of interactions and notifications are viewed in a single context with flexible filtering.

The Timeline interface of Trac is along these lines.

Thanks, Richard, for pointing this out.

Foldaway Panels for Putting a lot in one Interface

Again with thanks for the pointer to Richard, the foldaway panels on A9 provide a very nice way to organise a lot in one interface.

FreeMind

I want to note some of the useful tools that I find here.

Top of the list is FreeMind, an open source mind-mapper. I am using it almost every time I want to take some notes or record and organise some ideas. I use it for my "to do list" and for planning various projects.

The real test for me: I am using it instead of grabbing a piece of scrap paper.

It uses Java so it runs equally well on Windows and Linux.

CSS Zen Garden

The CSS Zen Garden is a good example of the interface-switching we are after in GroupServer .
